Abuakwa Youth Demands Names Of JB Danquah’s Killers

Constituents of the murdered Abuakwa North MP J.B Danquah Adu are asking the Police CID to immediately question elements within the New Patriotic Party who allegedly masterminded the murder of their MP.

Their demand comes after revelations by the prime suspect that he was hired by some persons within the governing party to kill the MP.

Daniel Aseidu in a twenty minutes confession told the court that his contractors who are members of the ruling party told him to accuse the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of the crime after he had carried it out.

Additionally, he indicated to the court that after he committed the crime, his arrest by the Police was staged just to cover up for his actual privies.

Another twist to the confession was that, the first accused person told the court that at the appropriate time, he will mention the names of the persons who contracted him to commit the crime of murder.
Spokesperson for the group calling itself the Abuakwa Youth for Justice Nana Sei in an interview with Starr News said the suspect must be probed further to verify his claims.

“From the horses own mouth, he has said he was hired by some people and they have disappointed him, the promises they gave him, they haven’t fulfilled their part.

“They [CID] should handle him in a very nice way so that everybody behind the murder of the late MP will be known so that everyone will know that justice has been served.”

Meanwhile, the second accused person, Vincent Bosso, after the confession of the first accused person told the court that now that the first accused person has confessed, he ought to be released from custody because he knows nothing about the entire case.

His involvement in the ongoing committal proceedings is a breach of his fundamental human rights, the second accused told the court.
