CHIEF CALLS FOR GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION IMMEDIATELY

The Chief (Nana Kwaku) and some aggressive residents of Assin Otabilkurom in the Assin Foso municipality in the Central region are pleading to Government that, their children always don’t finish J.H.S due to the lack of J. H. S in their community, students walk six miles away to school at different town and this makes some of the students to stop schooling and others too pregnant. Last year we promoted eighteen students and only six of them finished J.H.S.

Nana Kwaku added that, apart from that, their community also lacking behind in terms of developmental projects such as portable water, teacher’s quarters and road.



He continues his statement that, they are tired of promises, before the election Government promised them that, He will build J. H. S for them but since He won the seat He has forgotten His promises.

In addition, Unite Committee Chairman Mr. John Andoh added that, their children always drink water from the ground and this cause their health and it’s not safety to their lives due to the lack of portable water in the community. Teachers are staying at different places, they walk 6miles to the school ,sometimes they didn’t get car to come due to the bad road.

He concluded his statement that, We pay tax of which we don’t get any benefits from it ,since we elected our Assemblyman he doesn’t come here, our school is collapsing.

We are pleading for the Government ,our MP Hon. Ntim Fordjour and any Non Governmental Organization(NGOs) to come into our aid.
