Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Isaac Owusu Bempah has expressed disappointment in award-winning journalist and host of Kokrokoo on Peace FM, Kwami Sefa Kayi.
In an audio of an interview monitored by MyNewsGH.com, the Prophet of the Nation, as Rev Owusu Bempah is affectionately accused the respected journalist of aiding and abetting Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako, his protege to take him to the cleaners on the Kokrokoo Morning show on Peace FM on Wednesday.
Kwaku Baako had said that Pastors with questionable characters and deeds will soon be investigated and exposed by Anas Aremeyaw Anas, and not stopping there, Mr Baako categorically mentioned the name of Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah whom he doubts is a true man of God will soon be put under the radar and scrutinized.
“Who is Owusu Bempah, does he have a church…I have to put them on my radar. These churches and pastors, it’s about time that we re-examine them critically. Too much pollution in the air, When the spiritually engage in scaremongering I should not react? They do it all the time. I repeat we have to put them on the radar, useless prophecies and scaremongering all over the place. Today they say this, tomorrow they say another thing and waste everybody’s time,” Baako said on Peace FM Wednesday as Kwami Sefa Kayi watched on, Rev Bempah believes.
MyNewsGH.com has reportedly extensively on the crust of the issue, which is mainly between Kwaku Baako and the President’s Pastor.
The Genesis
Reverend Owusu Bempah had on Tuesday in an interview on Okay FM backed Kennedy Ohene Agyapong’s relentless campaign against investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
According to the man of God, after watching the Number12 documentary on football corruption, he realized there are several questions for Anas to answer.
“Anas in his video told Kwesi Nyantakyi that the money was for shopping so why does he turn round and say that he offered bribe to the former President of the Ghana Football Association. Again, he also presented monies to people like referees, Match Commissioners when they hadn’t asked him for it, and he again turned round to say they collected bribe,” Rev Bempah said.
“I did not understand why Anas concluded he gave bribe to Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi, immediate past president of Ghana Football Association when he told him the money was for shopping.”
However, taking his usual seat on Kokrokoo with Sefa Kayi, Mr Baako replied the Man of God, even, calling him a ‘dead wood’, which Rev Bempah said hurts him deeply.
But on Kwami Sefa Kayi, he said: “I am very disappointed in Kwami Sefa Kayi for sitting there and allowing him (Kwaku Baako) to insult me in that manner”.
