Nabil Fekir to Man Utd: Red Devils SUBMIT OFFER as Liverpool revelations emerge

MANCHESTER UNITED have offered Nabil Fekir a deal to join them this summer.
French newspaper Le Progres claim the Liverpool target has an offer on the table to head to Old Trafford after the World Cup.

They also detail how Liverpool’s move for the playmaker broke down.

Liverpool had all-but secured Fekir’s signature and the France international had posed in a Reds kit ahead of his announcement.

But the pre-World Cup move failed when, as Le Progres claim, Liverpool tried to lower their bid.

They claim: “Liverpool decided to lower the price for Nabil by €5m (£4.43m), hiding behind a cartilage problem of the player’s knee, which was an old story and is not at all preventing him from playing in the World Cup.”

The local French newspaper claim Lyon still have a ‘massive sales policy’ that will see a number of top stars leave this summer.

And Fekir is likely to be sold despite the club’s stance that they are happy to keep him in Ligue 1.

The club have already earned €47m from the sale of five players this summer and more could follow.
Le Progres claim Manchester United’s bid for Fekir is ‘the latest’ in a long line of offers for the playmaker.

“For Nabil, offers are not lacking. The latest comes from Manchester United,” the report reads.

Fekir is currently with the France squad preparing for today’s World Cup last-16 clash with Argentina.

The match kicks off at 3pm in Kazan, meaning by this evening Fekir could be heading back home to France and free to sort out his future.
