9 year old boy dies after fallen into hole filled with water

A 9-Year-old boy has lost his life when he fell into an uncovered hole filled with water in Assin Foso bypass road- under construction in the Assin Foso Municipality.

The hole is said to have been left uncovered by the Contractor and nothing indicates that there is a hole there to take a caution since work Commence,

According to an eyewitness, said the victim was sent by his teacher to send a mobile phone to his friend because he was not feeling well .



The victim has missed about two days ago, so a neighbour was passing by the hole and saw somebody in the hole and informed the resident
and entered the hole filled with water and retrieved the lifeless body.

The body of the victim has been deposited at the St. Francis Xavier Hospital while Assin Foso police are investigating the matter.
