CRISTIANO RONALDO has been pictured in the Juventus training kit for the first time as his move from Real Madrid edges closer to completion.
Ronaldo jetted into Turin on Sunday as Juventus geared up to present him as their new £88m (€100m) signing.
And he is currently having a medical before he is unveiled at the Allianz Stadium at 5.30pm (BST).
Cristiano Ronaldo has run on a treadmill as part of the routine set of tests and he will undergo a series of scans too.
The Portugal international has now been snapped in a Juventus shirt for the first time as he prepares to sign on the dotted line.
Ronaldo has been photographed in the club’s official Adidas training kit.
And fans will be eagerly anticipating seeing him in their famous black and white shirt for the first time.
Juventus are yet to confirm the colour of their second and third jerseys for the 2018/19 campaign.
But Ronaldo will be keen to make his mark in whatever he’s wearing after nine trophy-laden years in Madrid.
Ronaldo has helped Real Madrid win successive Champions League titles for the past three seasons.
And he leaves the Bernabeu having won 15 trophies, as well having collected a cluster of personal awards.
Former Juventus striker Paolo Rossi believes Ronaldo will make Real rue selling him to the Serie a giants.
“With Ronaldo, Juve have everything to win the Champions League, and those who have doubts considering his age [need to] go to see some of his last matches for Real,” said Rossi.
“Ronaldo has a player’s body of 27-28 years. First, he has reduced his range of action and he has learned to distribute his energies to the best, now he comes to the right shot with the right strength, a nightmare for his opponents.
“Plus Cristiano has not chosen Italy to be a luxury retiree. He will play every game to show Florentino Perez what a mistake Real have made not to treat him as the strongest player in the world. Motivations do not age.”
