Finance Minister, Ken Ofori Atta is in Parliament this morning to present the mid-year budget review statement and economic policy to the house.
Ken Ofori-Atta is expected to touch on critical areas of the country’s economy halfway into the year as part of his constitutional mandate.
There have been hints of increment in taxes as well as the introduction of new taxes.
The Minority in Parliament has, however, warned the government against increasing taxes noting that any such increases would put too much burden on Ghanaians who are already struggling in the country.
