Man Utd news: Tahith Chong belts out Michael Jackson hit in hilarious initiation task

MANCHESTER UNITED youngster Tahith Chong is the latest player to perform his initiation during their pre-season tour of the USA.

Chong joins a host of young Manchester United players on their pre-season tour this summer.

Manager Jose Mourinho has taken Angel Gomes, Mason Greenwood, RoShaun Williams, James Garner, Ethan Hamilton and Joshua Bohui to the States as the Red Devils continue their preperations for the new Premier League campaign.

And following Angel Gomes’ brilliant performance of Valerie by The Zutons earlier this week, Chong has become the next young player to sing his initiation song.



The winger was made to stand up on a chair in front of his team-mates during dinner on Wednesday to sing a tune of his choice.
The youngster picked Michael Jackson’s ‘Man in the Mirror’ and he showed few nerves as he belted out the hit while singing into a fork.

Midfielder Ander Herrera took to his Instagram to share a video of Chong performing and the United players loved it.

His fellow Red Devils players were seen laughing and banging the tables as Chong flexed his vocal chords in the hilarious ritual.

Chris Smalling also uploaded a video to social media and Mourinho can be seen in the corner refusing to watch the young Dutchman perform.

However, once Chong had finished his rousing rendition of the tune, Mourinho did join in on the round of applause at the end.
