Man Utd transfer news: Arturo Vidal makes decision on move with Alexis Sanchez considered

MANCHESTER UNITED face heartache in their pursuit of Bayern Munich star Arturo Vidal, according to reports.

Manchester United have been heavily linked with Bayern Munich star Vidal despite having six midfielders on the books already.

The Chile international’s agent, Fernando Felicevich, has supposedly been locked in talks over a move that would see Vidal become United’s fourth signing of the summer.

Felicevich also brokered the deal that saw Alexis Sanchez join Manchester United from Arsenal in January.

But Italian website FC Inter News claim Vidal will not be moving to Old Trafford this summer.

Links to United stretch back to 2014, when the midfield bulldozer was plying his trade in Serie A with Juventus.

Louis van Gaal pursued a deal all summer but the club ultimately opted against a transfer.
Bayern then swooped to sign Vidal 12 months later with the 30-year-old since helping them dominate German football.

FC Inter News say Vidal has considered weighed up a move to United and the prospect of linking up with Sanchez, his close friend and compatriot.

However, after due consideration, he is set to push for a move to Inter instead.

The Serie A giants have already pulled off one transfer coup in the form of Radja Nainggolan, who signed from Roma.

And, with United primed to miss out, a second big deal of the summer may be in the offing.
Vidal, meanwhile, recently admitted to uncertainty over his Bayern future.

“At this moment everyone knows that I have one year left with Bayern,” he said.

“I am very calm, I know what I am worth, I know when I have to play important matches who I am and that is why there are so many offers when the market opens.

“This time I’m going to take it easy, my representative Fernando Felicevich is attentive to everything.

“I will try to rest and recover in the best way to see if I change equipment or not, be one hundred percent.

”If I change my team it’s going to be for the better, to fight for the Champions League, win titles, fight for important things.”
