LIVESTREAMING: Amissah-Arthur’s funeral service

The remains of the late Vice President Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur will finally be laid to rest today at the Military Cemetery at Burma Camp.

Family, friends, dignitaries, as well as members of the general public, are attending the burial service for the late statesman.

After the service which is expected to end around midday, the funeral cortege would go through some principal streets of Accra his mortal remains are buried at the Military Cemetery.

The former Vice President passed on June 29 after he collapsed at the Airforce Gym during a workout session and rushed to the 37 Military Hospital.

Final funeral rites and reception would be at the forecourt of State House from 1400 on Saturday, July 28.

The interment for Mr. Amissah-Arthur will, however, be by special invitation.

A thanksgiving service is expected to be held on Sunday, July 29 at the Calvary Methodist Church in Accra.
