It is interesting to hear the general secretary of the NPP admitting that, the ministry of fisheries failed to do proper consultation and effective communication relating to the proposed ban on fishing in the country as he was informing the public on the clearance of the ban.
I complimented John Boadu for conceding the fact that, the minister of fisheries and the deputies are super incompetent and substandard.
The ministry in collaboration with the presidency must urgently render an unqualified apology for creating fear and frustration in the good people of Ghana living at the fishing communities or who are economically engaging in fishing for survival.
Also, we the good people of Ghana will be expecting government to come out publicly with a progressive master plan on how to get the said problem solved without rendering the fishing communities jobless in the near future.
Government must also assure these communities of their jobs security or come out with a potent option for these communities to get themselves engaged economically when the ban takes place.
The NPP under the disable leadership of Nana Addo will never learn to stop doing things in a rush.
The said problem with our fishes, needed a broader consultations with experts in fisheries, our institutions such as the universities, agric colleges, research bodies and other concerned citizens of this republic to ensure that, we obtain a solution to be implemented or applied progressively than using only the NPP surrogates who are good at nothing than MISLEADING to come out with misleading solutions causing panic among the people in the affected communities of loosing their jobs.
I will finally call on the president who claimed to be a listening leader to fire the minister of fisheries and the deputies for attempting to render some Ghanaians jobless and has also caused fear of unemployment in them.
I would still want to advice the NPP to do away with arrogance and come to us in the NDC to lecture them on effective communication, and also how to do proper consultation before taking decisions of national interest, since JOHN BOADU , the Chief executive officer of the party admitted the duo to be a problem they are facing presently.
The NDC belief in Ghana first, so we are always ready to ensure success in the current administration but sometimes their own actions and inactions are making the country ungovernable for them.
Thank you all
I’m ABRAHAM BOAFO
An NDC executive member of the Nkwanta south constituency.
