NEYMAR WORLD EXCLUSIVE: Star makes shock Man Utd, City, Liverpool, Chelsea prediction

NEYMAR has delivered a shock Premier League prediction in a world exclusive interview with Express.co.uk.
The PSG superstar, 26, flew into Barcelona last week to meet former team-mates including Luis Suarez and Ivan Rakitic at the club’s training ground.

He then rushed across town to sit down with Express.co.uk for a rare interview at the PokerStars European Poker Tour Barcelona event.

Neymar speaks very little English but was keen to give his view as to who would win the Premier League when we pressed him for a prediction.
Double-checking as to the exact question, Neymar asked his close friend who acted as a translator: “Who will in it? Woah, that’s difficult.”
The Brazilian then took his time to think through his choices before revealing: “It’s very hard, it’s very difficult, but Manchester City will win it.”

Pressed on who would take the other top four places, Neymar rubbed his chin before saying: “Second will be United, third is Chelsea.”

The Brazilian then paused before adding: “Fourth is Tottenham.”

Neymar was joined at the Pokerstars event by his former Barcelona team-mate Gerard Pique, who was close by listening to Neymar’s predictions.
Pique reacted in shock as Neymar dubbed Spurs as fourth-place finishers – handing a snub to Liverpool.

But Neymar confirmed “no Liverpool” – despite the Reds sitting top of the pile after four games of the Premier League.

NEYMAR’S TOP FOUR PREDICTION

1) MANCHESTER CITY

2) MANCHESTER UNITED

3) CHELSEA

4) TOTTENHAM

City’s squad include a host of Neymar’s Brazil team-mates including Ederson, Gabriel Jesus and Fernandinho.

Express.co.uk exclusively revealed on Monday that Neymar would rather move to Chelsea or Arsenal than one of the Manchester giants.
The PSG star got Manchester City fans excited in the summer when he reiterated his desire to play under Pep Guardiola.

But Neymar is unlikely to ever swap Paris for Manchester – because he is in love with London.

Express Sport understands the Brazilian, 25, has privately told friends he would rather move to Chelsea or Arsenal than United or City – if he was ever to join the Premier League.

A source close to the player told Express Sport: “He loves England – but mainly London. He has been there three or four times in the last 12 months.

“He says there is always something about London. The last time he kept ringing me up and begging me to join him because he loved it so much.

“He kept saying ‘this place is amazing, this place is amazing’. He just loves London.”
