WAFU U-17 Championship: Ghana To Face Cote D’ Ivoire In Semi

Ghana’s Black Starlets will take on Cote d’Ivoire in the semi-finals of the ongoing WAFU U17 Championship in Niger.

A massive turnaround by Cote d’ Ivoire saw them thrash Burkina Faso 3-0 to set up a clash with Ghana having lost 5-1 to Nigeria their opening match.

Ghana topped Group A after defeating Togo 2-1 in their second group match.
The two sides will lock horns on Wednesday for a place in the finals.



Nigeria on the other hand will take on host Niger in the other semi-final clash.

Winner of the competition will join seven other countries for the 2019 Africa U17 Nations Cup in Tanzania.
