Despite returning to winning ways against Burnley before the international break, the manager’s position is still under pressure.
Sky host Sarah-Jane Mee asked: “I know what those cheeky traders behind you are like, they will all be football mad.
“They will want to talk to you about Wales, they will also want to talk to you about Manchester United and Mourinho, is he on borrowed time, Ryan?”
Giggs replied: “No, I think, obviously they won their last game.
“International break might come at a good time.
“Hopefully, it is always a worrying time at clubs, you want your players to come back fit and well.
“Now, hopefully, I am a Man United fan, hopefully, we can go on a run now.”
Giggs added that pressure can easily build on managers after teams suffer a series of defeats in the Premier League.
He said: “It is too early in the season. But, that is the way football is now.
“You lose a couple of games and you are under pressure.
“But hopefully we can make a run.”
