W/R: Seven Schoolchildren Killed In Road Crash

A fatal accident involving a school bus, carrying over 30 school pupils of Learners’ Bridge Academy in the Western region and a tipper truck, has claimed over seven.

According to Starr News sources, the school bus was conveying the pupils to their various destinations after close of school Tuesday when the accident occurred at Pepease in Wasa Dompim.



Reports say the school bus broke its shaft as it was negotiating a curve and lost control due to the rate of speed, and collided with the tipper truck.
The injured were rushed to the Tarkwa Government hospital.

Police in the area have begun investigations into the incident.
