Eden Hazard asked about leaving Chelsea in January… this is what he said

EDEN HAZARD says he will not be leaving Chelsea in January.
The Belgium international has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid.

The Spanish giants are desperate to land a new Galactico following Cristiano Ronaldo’s move to Juventus in the summer.

Hazard put Real on red alert this week, revealing it would be a dream to play at the Bernabeu.
However, the Chelsea star has now confirmed he will NOT be leaving Stamford Bridge in the January transfer window.
When asked if he will quit Chelsea next year, Hazard simply replied: “No.”

Hazard was also asked whether he needs to head to La Liga in order to win the Ballon d’Or and become the best player in the world.

“That’s why I want to go, maybe,” said Hazard, with a smile on his face.

The Belgium star is regarded as the best player in the Premier League by many, especially following his stunning start to the season under Maurizio Sarri.
However, Hazard reckons he’s the best player in the world at the moment.

He said: “Yes, I’m the best player in the world at the moment.

“But you can always improve. You can score more goals for instance.”

Hazard, who has netted seven Premier League goals this season, has two more years remaining on his current Chelsea contract.
However, the winger recently revealed he is reluctant to pen a new long-term deal at Chelsea – as he dreams to play for Real Madrid.

“I don’t want to say, ‘yes, I am signing a new contract’ and then in the end I don’t end up signing,” Hazard said this week.

“I want what’s good for me, but I want what’s good for the club because the club has given me everything.

“So I will see. Sometimes in my head, I wake up in the morning and think I want to go. Sometimes I think I want to stay.

“It is a hard decision. It is my future.
“That’s why I spoke after the World Cup and I said that I think it is time to change because I played a great World Cup.

“I am playing good football at the moment.

“Real Madrid are the best club in the world. I don’t want to lie today.

“It is my dream since I was a kid. I was dreaming about this club.

“We will see. I don’t want to talk about this every day, I don’t have time. But we will talk about my future soon.”
