Kweku Baako is a fool; I will strip him naked – Kennedy Agyapong

Embattled Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has descendedly heavily on the Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako.

He has described him as a “fool” and vowed to “expose” his corrupt practices.

Reacting to the GH?25million defamation suit filed against him by Mr Baako, the outspoken NPP MP pooh-poohed on the reliefs being sought by the former, and vowed to strip him (Baako) naked on Asempa Fm’s Ekosii Sen Programme.



“His twenty five million, when i “shit” i will pay easily,” he said angrily.

The seasoned journalist, on October 16th, 2018, sued the NPP Member of Parliament for defamation.

Kweku Baako is seeking reliefs including general damages in the sum of GH?25million against Mr Agyapong.

In his statement of claim, Kweku Baako avers that, on July 18, 2018 and on several occasions thereafter, Mr Agyapong published several statements against him on Oman FM, Net 2 TV, Adom FM and Asempa FM which are defamatory.

According to him, on certain occasions when the hosts of the programmes on which he made those defamatory comments against him asked him to retract or provide facts to back the claims he [Agyapong] made failed to do so.

According to Kweku Baako, Mr Agyapong’s assertions have affected his image and reputation in the eyes of “right-thinking” members of the society.

Reached for his initial comments on the defamation suit against him, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong directed his anger at the Minister for National Security, Albert Kan Dapaah claiming he (Minister) has been trying to amicably settle the differences between him (Kennedy Agyapong) and Mr. Baako.

He however vowed that his “war” against the seasonsed journalist has only just started, adding that the suit will not stop him from speaking the truth about Kweku Baako.

“I will face them one by one, nah! Kweku Baako… I will strip him naked… I swear to God,” he fumed.
