Efya finally speaks on her drug addiction rumors

Singer Efya has been tagged severally as a drug addict.

However, Efya in a recent interview has rubbished such claims.

According to the ‘one of your own ‘ crooner, she does not do drugs and that people have falsely assumed she is a drug addict since she came into the limelight.

She made this revelation in an interview on Accra based radio station, Rainbow Radio.



Efya whose real name is Jane Awindor disclosed that the only drug she takes is paracetamol because she has suffered from a migraine since age 12.

She added that she is unperturbed by such allegations leveled against her.

“I have had a migraine since I was 12 years and I do take paracetamol so that is the only drug I do. I don’t care about people saying I do drugs. I don’t care anymore because I know who I am”. She said

She indicated that no one can stop her greatness by fabricating lies about her.

“You can’t stop my greatness. I have been doing this for 8 years and you think you can stop me? Amazing, Stop saying I do drugs, Are you not bored with the same old story”. she disclosed
