I SUPPORT INSTANT JUSTICE BECAUSE ASSIN FOSO POLICE CANNOT HELP US- KENNEDY AGYAPONG

The member of parliament for Assin Central has stated emphatically that Civilians should kill robbers who pursue them.
Although the 1992 constitution of Ghana frowns on instant Justice where people take the law into their own hands in retaliation of crimes committed, Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Agyapong wants his constituents to kill criminals.

The comment of the legislator comes after a thief arrested by a civilian and sent to the police station escaped when a police officer on duty asked the man who arrested the suspect to send him to the hospital without an escort.

According to Kennedy Agyapong, the Assin Fosu Divisional Police command is not doing enough to protect the citizenry hence the call on the citizenry to consider instant Justice if the police cannot protect lives and properties as they are mandated to do.
