MANCHESTER UNITED manager Jose Mourinho will launch an investigation after his team was LEAKED before Saturday’s game with Chelsea.
Manchester United drew 2-2 at Stamford Bridge to deny Mourinho a first win back at his former club.
The Blues left if late to level things up as Ross Barkley netted in the fifth minute of stoppage time.
But it appears as though United’s tactics for the game may well have been leaked earlier in the day.
The Mail claim Mourinho’s plans were leaked on social media hours before the early Saturday kick-off.
Mourinho is said to be livid his plans for the squad – which included Juan Mata playing in a central midfield role – were exposed.
The Mail claim the leak gave Chelsea and Maurizio Sarri an indication of how United would line up.
And there is now a fear there is a MOLE in the United camp, as Mourinho’s plans would only have reached as far as his squad and technical staff.
It is not the first time United’s team has been scrutinised this season, with Rio Ferdinand saying after the 3-1 loss to West Ham: “You can’t let a situation like this continue through the season.
“Things leaking out in the press, little wars going on within the changing room that are creeping out, players on one side maybe, Mourinho on the other. If that continues, it’ll be one of the worst seasons in the history of the club. Something’s got to give.”
United certainly seemed ruffled by Chelsea in the first half at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, with Antonio Rudiger opening the scoring 21 minutes in.
But the Red Devils broke back after half time with two strikes from Anthony Martial.
Mata was eventually substituted on 75 minutes but United could not gold on for the win as Barkley popped up with the leveller.
Next up for Mourinho’s side is a home tie with Juventus in the Champions League on Tuesday.
Old Trafford will witness the return to Cristiano Ronaldo to his former club, with Mourinho desperately seeking a win.
