Man Utd team news: Predicted line up vs Bournemouth – will Romelu Lukaku play?

MANCHESTER UNITED take on Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium – but who will start?
Manchester United face a tricky away trip to Bournemouth with their attacking options all under scrutiny ahead of the Saturday lunchtime kick-off.

The Red Devils have endured a rough season so far, but a 2-1 victory over Everton last weekend will have given Jose Mourinho’s side confidence to kick on.

Romelu Lukaku was benched for the start of the game against his former club, and missed a glorious chance after coming on as a substitute.

The Belgian striker hasn’t scored in his last nine appearances for United and faces a nervy wait to see what his involvement will be on Saturday.
Mourinho will surely be tempted to stick with the line-up that triumphed over the Toffees, with Marcus Rashford leading the line.

The England international has been shifted out to the left-wing for much of the last year, but with Anthony Martial in terrific form, Mourinho could push Rashford into the middle.

Juan Mata has also impressed in recent weeks and looks set to continue on the right flank.

Lukaku looks set to be joined on the bench by Alexis Sanchez, Jesse Lingard and the fit-again Marcos Rojo.
Argentine defender Rojo is yet to feature for club or country in 2018/19 and will not be rushed back into the starting XI.

Victor Lindelof and Chris Smalling will continue their partnership and summer signing Fred will keep his place in midfield, while Ashley Young is likely to fill in for the injured Antonio Valencia.

Marouane Fellaini and Diogo Dalot are also ruled out, while Scott McTominay and Phil Jones are fitness doubts.

Predicted Man Utd team vs Bournemouth
(4-3-3) De Gea; Young, Smalling, Lindelof, Shaw; Fred, Matic, Pogba; Mata, Rashford, Martial.
