Auntie B claps back at critics of Rev Obofour

Popular actress, Auntie B of Efiewura fame is not happy with people labeling Kweku Antwi-Agyei, popularly known as Rev Obofour, General Overseer of Anointed Palace Chapel as a ‘fake man of God’.

Auntie B, wife of the late actor, Santo, who was responding to allegations of contracting people to fake miracles for the now famous pastor at his church on Accra FM on Saturday, November 10, said she found it interesting that people think Rev. Obofour’s miracles not genuine.

According to the actress who was gifted a Hyundai Elantra by the pastor in August this year, the man of God is genuine and she is yet to find out any dubious activity by him as being speculated since she joined his church over a year now.

“I have never encountered any such act at Anointed Palace Chapel ever since I started worshipping there. So all those who have such a perception about Rev. Obofour should find a place to sleep and think about their future.

“The man of God has no one on this planet who contacts people to fake miracles as a section of the public believes. These stories are untruths being speculated about him,” she stated.

A former member of the Glorious Wave Church headed by Rev Badu Kobi, Auntie B revealed that she stopped the latter’s church when she couldn’t attend service for three months after she fell ill.

After recovery, she was introduced to Rev Obofour and Anointed Palace Chapel by Helena Omaboe, a colleague actress and a movie producer.

Since then, she has been a staunch member of the church but it appears, her association with the church and Rev Obofour has not helped her image.

The actress has been accused of being ‘hired’ by the man of God to coach people on how to feign sickness and receive ‘healing’ from him and her reward for a good job done was the Hyundai Elantra she recently received from Rev. Obofour but she denied when asked by the host, Nana Romeo.

“If for all the years of entertaining people, subsequent governments cannot honour me or present me with an award, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a man of God doing that.

“I have been a member of his church for some time and he has observed from that a celebrity and a person of my status deserves a car,” Auntie B stated.
