Don’t expect every Ghanaian to love you – Peter of P-Square fame tells Sarkodie

The better half of defunct P-Square group, Rudeboy born Peter Okoye has come to the defence of Sarkodie months after his Ghanaian counterpart was lambasted for promoting his new single on Twitter describing some Ghanaians as unloving.



Ghanaian celebrated rapper Sarkodie incurred the wrath of social media users after he shared a post which sort to promote a new song by on half of the Nigerian defunct group P-Square, Mr P the same week that Ghanaians got agitated for the terrible reception accorded to Ghanaian musicians during a concert in Nigeria

But according to Peter aka Mr P in an interview with Joy News asked Sarkodie to cast his mind off those negative comments telling him that just like Jesus Christ, he shouldn’t expect all Ghanaians to love him.

“We Still Have People Who Don’t Like You No Matter What, Even Almighty Jesus Christ Was Crucified.”

Mr P, who calls himself Minister of Entertainment occasionally, also revealed that Sarkodie is very humble and find it weird that he got attacked for simply promoting him.

“This Is Africa And You Can’t Just Say Because He Put Up My Music, People Are Sad That He Is Not Doing That For His Fellow People, Sarkodie Is One Of The Most Humble Musicians I Have Met In Ghana.”
