TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER FOR FREE SHS, AN ACT OF OLIGARCHY IN THE EXPENSE OF DEMOCRACY ABRAHAM BOAFO

TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER FOR FREE SHS, AN ACT OF OLIGARCHY IN THE EXPENSE OF DEMOCRACY ABRAHAM BOAFO

It was rather unfortunate to heard the misruled and failed Nana Addo lead Npp government, discriminating between the rich and the poor in their so called free SHS?

How could the NPP lack common sense to know that, when parents are to be taxed compulsorily to finance the school fees of their wards in the senior high school where defaulters will be denied of the so called free Shs, then senior high school is no more free?

The deviated new patriotic party under the misled leadership of Williams Akuffo Addo is indeed in the business of disappointing, discriminating and preparing grounds for massive denationalisation of the good people of Ghana.

The over 23million people who can not afford to get either birth certificate or travelling passport to be able to obtain a tax identification number are also Ghanaians to benefit from the so called government social intervention policy, William Akuffo Addo and his surrogates must beware!

Why is this clueless government trying to let us understand that, only the rich must survive in the society?

Are we in the era of oligarchy or democracy?

If parent are to be paying taxes compulsorily to finance the school fees of their wards in the senior high school and those who will not be able to meet this requirement will be denied, the question is what then made senior high school free in the country?

What then define democracy where a government is for the masses but not the elite and for that matter there should not be discrimination between the rich and the poor?

If TIN is now a compulsory requirement in our education system, then the country is indeed sick and needs serious political medication.

If the Free SHS is giving the NPP headache, they should better come out immediately after reading this press release and render an unqualified apology to the people of this country and cancel it to prevent the nuisance it is bringing to our education system as a country.

Nana Addo should know that, this country is a democratic country with the masses always being the superiors, his approach of making the system looks like only the classic in the society must survived is unhealthy and he must rethink as soon as possible.

The ordinary Ghanaian in that homestead, hamlet and village who can not even afford to feed well should not be denied of a policy promised and implemented by government because of the fellows inability to obtain a tax identification number which supposed to be acquired by a travelling passport or birth certificate.

If the NPP appointees including the president are raising fat salaries in the expense of the ordinary Ghanaian, that should not let them feel all is well with the ordinary Ghanaian, Nana Addo must know times are indeed harder under his government.

I will finally advise the NPP as a party and the entire Nana Addo government to think before they act.

Thank you all.

Abraham Boafo.
