I ‘killed’ two Kumasi journalists who framed me up – Prophet Kumchacha

The Founder and leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministry Prophet Kumchacha has defended his killing of two journalists in the Kumasi metropolis for allegedly attempting to destroy his reputation.

Prophet Kumchacha boldly said on air that he killed two Kumasi-based journalists and paralyzed a third person after they supposedly connived with a lady to set him up in a bid to ruin the image he has upheld for the past twenty-nine years.

Narrating what triggered his unusual actions, the outspoken leader of the Heaven’s Gate Ministry said he was walking down the street one day when the said woman called to tell him there was something urgent they needed to discuss.

Being a prophet, he said he felt inclined to hear her out to assist her with her issue so he gave her a location for them to meet.

According to him, few minutes after the woman got to the location, Sanbra hotel in Adum, Kumasi, he overheard her giving out their location in a phone call which made him get suspicious of the woman.

The ‘man of God’ alleged that three men, two of which were known journalists and the other unknown, stormed his room claiming he wanted to have an affair with the girl.

He stated that he was amazed at their actions and this pushed him to kill the journalists and cut off the leg of the other spiritually for them to learn their lesson.

‘I have worked as a pastor for twenty-nine years and during Rawlings’ era, I have been arrested for preaching three times, slept in Kumasi Central Police Station for about four times, and the situation was not different from Accra Central Police Station. So building through these tough times till 29 years and for someone to use a day, a second or an hour to tarnish your image is very painful’, Prophet Kumchacha said.

Quoting a bible scripture, Romans 6:23a which reads, ‘For the wages of sin is death’ to buttress what he did to the three spiritually, the Prophet stated that, he hasn’t regretted taking that action.

Speaking to Kofi Adomah on his show, Kofi TV, the man of God claimed media persons in Adum, Kumasi township were being used by the ‘devil’ to operate against renowned and powerful men of God like himself.

Kumchacha said, “There were media persons in the township that the devil was using to operate. They connive with some ladies in the church, look for renowned pastors with many members like mine that I had over 5,000 members within 6 months to trap pastors and extort money from them”.

Prophet Kumchacha added that, “each time the ladies came to meet them for help or prayers, they then turned to give reports to the journalists involved in extorting money from pastors as business and Sometimes, these journalists have the guts to call and say they’ve heard a bad story about you, give me this amount of money to withdraw the story if not, the said publication will be made.”
