I’m on a music break to search for money – Anita Afriyie

Renowned gospel musician, Anita Afriyie, known for her hit songs like ‘Adehye Mogya, Adom, Ade Kese, Sweet Jesus’ and the many more gospel bangers in an exclusive interview with zionfelix.net has disclosed that she is hanging her singing boots for some time to concentrate on other things.

Anita makes the point that being a gospel musician is a great thing because at every point in time one gets the opportunity to glorify his or her maker but it is not financially good for individuals. As such, she has decided to concentrate on a career that will at every point in time bring in some income that will sustain herself and family.

When asked if she does not feel that she may be forgotten as one of Ghana’s known gospel musicians when she decides to come back, Anita replied Zionfelix that it will never be possible. She explains that for one to remain relevant in the music industry, it is not just about releasing songs onto the market.

Anita added that some artists release songs and nobody even hears the songs because they are not good songs, therefore, she believes anytime she comes back, people will still love it because it will be a great song.

The ‘American Burger’ also revealed that she has recorded a lot of songs in the studio already. For that matter anytime the Lord tells her to come back to gospel music, she will be fully prepared to do more greater works.
