Agyarko’s ‘over-ambitious’ widows are ‘witches’ with no conscience – Ghanaians on social media

Some Ghanaians on social media platforms are angry about the seeming tension between the two widows of the late Emmanuel Agyarko, Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon who passed on in November, calling the widows ‘shameless witches’ for being ‘ambitious’ MyNewsGh.com has filed.

Some polling station executives and some constituents of the Ayawaso West Wuogon Constituency in the Greater Accra Region, including some students of the University of Ghana and GIMPA clashed at the NPP Greater Accra Regional Party Office each clamouring for one of the widows to replace her late husband.

Mr. Agyarko died on November 21, 2018, from a prolonged illness, and he’s yet to be buried. While a date is yet to be fixed for a bye-election, posters of both widows have emerged with passionate supporters calling on the two wives of the late NPP MP to go for their late husband’s seat as MP for Ayawaso West Wuogon.

“Here is Widows wanting to be MPs after their husband’s death… Eiii Ghana! Greed or selfishness?

They have enjoyed the loot and share so much that they can’t see it leave their family…hmmmmm.”

“As a student of politics, I can only hope the story making rounds that two wives (Widows) of the late Ayawaso West Wuogon MP Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko below are slugging it out to replace him as Mp isn’t true. This is beyond comprehension. I mean the man has not yet even been buried. These actions might end up causing the party the seat if care isn’t taken. #GhWeDey”

“Everybody wants power sooner or later we all turn politicians and we shall see who will votes for who”

“Are this women worth marrying. Even when their husband is still in the morgue.” “This is withcraft

“If these trend of wives must succeed their late husband’s as MP’s….then expect more male MPs to die”

“In the chest of a woman is not only an extension of the breast and a feeble heart but a strong desire to hold and use power!”??????”
