ANDY GRAY and Richard Keys were left arguing over Jose Mourinho and Manchester United on beIN SPORTS on Sunday night.
Gray admitted he thought Mourinho would be a Manchester United great but was scathing in his assessment after the Portuguese was sacked.
“This is the club he always wanted to coach, always,” Gray said.

“But he’s not going to be remembered as one of the greats of Manchester United – far from it.
“They will be thought of much higher than Jose Mourinho.”
Mourinho won the Europa League and the League Cup in his first year in charge – then finished second the year after.
That prompted Keys to defend Mourinho and say: “You can’t say he didn’t win things.”
Gray stuck to his guns, telling Keys: “I know – but it’s the way he won it.” Keys snapped straight back: “They finished second last year.”
But that argument wouldn’t wash with Gray who replied: “Listen, they might as well have finished 14th, they were that far away from Manchester City.
“They were a million miles away. I know what you’re saying but I disagree with what you’re saying.
“They didn’t like him – but I thought it would be the perfect fit, I really did. It proved to be the opposite of that.
“It proved to be that Mourinho’s way of coaching, his way of setting teams up wasn’t for Manchester United.”
Mourinho was given the boot after a 3-1 defeat to Liverpool earlier this month to be replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The club great, who has been named as caretaker boss until the end of the season, was responded by winning his opening three games in charge.
