Hearts of Oak confirm coach Seth Hofmann’s departure from the club

Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak have announced the departure of coach Seth Hofmann from the club.

Hoffman took over the club’s coaching reins in the wake of the sacking of Henry Wellington in June last year.

The soft-spoken trainer guided the Phobians to record wins in friendly games in the aftermath of the Anas Number 12 expose which halted football in the West African country.

Hoffman was relegated to the club’s feeder club, Auroras, after Kim Grant was appointed as head coach and technical director of the club in November last year.

Last week, reports went widespread that Hoffman will be leaving the club after a meeting was held at the team’s secretariat.

In the early hours of Wednesday, the Accra-based took to their twitter handle to announce the decision.

The Management of @HeartsOfOakGH wishes to inform the sporting public especially football fans that Coach Seth Hoffman is no longer with the Club. We thank him for his services and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
