Anas knows something about Ahmed’s murder – Agbesi Nutsu alleges

A security and corporate governance expert, Agbesi Nutsu says Anas Aremeyaw Anas must be implicated in the death of his partner, Ahmed Hussein-Suale who was shot dead at Madina on his way home.

He says certain things does not add up with respect to comments by the leader of the Tiger Eye PI team immediately after his colleague was shot dead.

Ahmed Hussein-Suale, an undercover investigator was killed by gunmen on Wednesday night at Madina, Accra.

He was an associate of award-winning investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas who runs private investigations firm, Tiger Eye PI.

Serving his own suspicions, he has called for the military to institute an investigation into the death as the police seems to be so close to Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Speaking on Okay FM’s ‘Ade Akye Abia’ morning programme, he insisted that Anas Aremeyaw Anas knows something about the death.

He claimed he has text messages pointing to the fall-out and threats on Ahmed’s life.

“Why didn’t he[Anas] give the police chance to investigate” before circulating the video? “it doesn’t make sense,” the vociferous member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) communications team, Mr Agbesi Nutsu said.
The family of the investigative journalist, Ahmed Hussein-Suale has appealed to the general public to assist the police apprehend the killers.

Hussein-Suale was last Wednesday shot twice in the chest and once in the neck killing him.

He was instrumental in the undercover investigations that exposed corruption in football in Ghana and across the continent.

At a news conference in Accra, the family says no effort should be spared in resourcing the police and called on national and international bodies to support.
