Ayorkor Botchwey’s ‘419-ex-husband’ poses as doctor at 37, dupes patient Ghc15k

A notorious character Faith Terkpor Mensah alias, Fred Oware best known for his serial fraud in the country has done it again; this time, from the 37 Military Hospital where again, he posed as a medical doctor and duped unsuspecting members of the public various sums of money, MyNewsGh.com has learnt.

The young man has been arrested numerous times for several offenses and on all occasions he managed to find his way out. A friend of his latest victim Selorm Brantie has narrated his modus operandi.




“He poses as a doctor at 37 military hospital. He gets people to come there under the pretense of being a doctor at the hospital. He hangs a lab coat and stethoscope inside the car park. He meets his quarry at the car park and while talking to the quarry people will come and call him Doc Doc and he will be giving them advice and stuff.” he wrote.

“He then transacts the business, issues dud cheque and vanishes waiting for the next victim. And he does it right in the premises of 37 hospital. He mixes with the staff inside and comes out pretending to be a surgeon.

“You are allowing this fraudster to still operate by signing lots of dud cheque and defrauding people by false pretense without doing anything about it even when victims report. How does this guy still walk around free? After all he did? How so? He just defrauded a friend of 15,000 cedis 3 days ago.” He added.

“Is the Ghanaian judicial system so lethargic that in spite of the numerous counts of fraud he is still a free man? What kind of systems do we run here?” He quizzed.
