LIVESTREAMING: NDC members beseige headquarters following clashes, shootings

The National Democratic Congress is holding a presser to address issues regarding the Ayawaso-West Wuogon Elections, specifically, voting at the Baweleshie center which has been marred by violent clashes.

Some National Security Operatives are alleged to have fired gunshots at a polling centre a La Bawaleshie, injuring about six persons believed to be NDC supporters.

Following this, National Chairman of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo announced to some media outlets that the party’s candidate is withdrawing from the elections for security reasons.




Meanwhile party members have thronged the party headquarters to express their displeasure about leadership’s decision and the series of events as they happened at Baweleshie.
