2019 YEAR OF UNPRECEDENTED DEVELOPMENT- HON. KEN AGYAPONG ASSURES CONSTITUENTS

The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Assin Central Constituency Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has met a large number of his constituents and briefed them on what he has been doing for them as a Parliamentarian and also gave an account of how he utilized his MP’s share of the District Assemblies’ Common Fund (DACF).

Mr. Agyapong, who entered Parliament on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in January 2001, said, nineteen years spent in Parliament, he has helped many Assin People in terms of Scholarships, Job Opportunities, Building of schools, paying hospital bills, paying school fees, building Community centres and Markets, yet People accuse him of doing nothing in the constituency.

The function, which attracted participants from all the political parties in the area, afforded the participants the opportunity to raise their concerns on issues that were confronting the constituency,
he first visited Assin Atonsu community,

Hon. Kennedy Agyapong addressing the constituents said, he has bought 15 acres of land for the building of Foso Nursing training school, donated medical equipment worths ghs60,000 to Foso Polyclinic plus two motor bikes, and promised to bring a brand new pick up vehicle, 40kv generator and air conditioners.

Meanwhile, he has rent a place worth 180,000 Ghana cedis for 5 years for the start of the Nursing training school before they finish the building of the main Campus.



At Assin Atonsu

Hon. Kennedy promised to purchase 100 bags of cement for Assin Atonsu community to complete their community centre, electricity extension exercise will also take off soon.

At the meeting, the MP donated Ghs24,000 to 100 Market Women at Assin Atonsu to boost their businesses.

He continued the tour to Assin Wurukese where he promised to build three units Classroom block for the residence, completion of their Market and promised the youth metal poles and net to facilitate their playing ground.

Additionally, he said the Brofoyedru to Akenkansu road construction has been awarded.
” I will assist the contractor with one million dollars to complete the construction before 2020.
I feel ashamed for Akropong Wurukese deplorable road, and I will make sure government construct the road immediately because you voted massively for NPP government” he said.
