Samini says he is too young to become MUSIGA president now

According to the Ghanaian reggae and dancehall artiste, he was too young to be the next president of the musicians union. Explaining his point further, Samini disclosed that he feels the stage needs him more presently than the office of MUSIGA.

“I think I’m too young for that. In Obour’s case, I think he had done what he needed to do on stage and he was ready to give up the stage for office, I think the stage needs me more than the office at the moment,” Samini said in an interview on Class FM on Thurday, March 14. Meanwhile, Samini, has explained recent reports that Kofi Kinaata abandoned his record label. The reports had alleged that Kofi Kinaata, after getting the mileage and fame with the help of Samini and the record label, decided to leave the team.

But in an exclusive interview with YEN.com.gh, Samini has refuted the reports, stating unambiguously that “Kofi Kinaata did not leave High Grade”. Samini has released seven studio albums, all of which enjoyed high commercial success. He is currently promoting his Untamed album.
