Ghana and Enugu Rangers goalkeeper Nana Bonsu has been named the most outstanding goalkeeper in the 2018/19 CAF Confederation Cup group stage by the Confederation of African Football.
The 30-year old made 29 saves for his team during the group stages which was the highest among his peers.
His club announced this remarkable fate achieved by the Ghanaian in a tweet:
“Our Ghanaian shot stopper, Nana Bonsu, selected as the best goalkeeper in the group stage of CAF Confederation cup 2019 by the continental football body. Never say die.”
Despite the incredible performances by Nana Bonsu in the group stage, Enugu Rangers have been eliminated from the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Nigerian club lost their final game in the competition at home to CS Sfaxien.
