A certain class of of our immune cells (the *monocytes* )are the type of white blood cells, important in the immune system’s ability to destroy invaders, also facilitate healing and repairs the body), have tiny molecules on their surface called neuroreceptors that are a perfect fit for neuropeptides.
The brain produces the neuropeptides which are chains of amino acids and conducts them along the nervous cells through out the body. Anger triggers the body’s fight or flight response by producing excess hormones that affects the brain functioning. The brain perceives the anger and responds by triggering the release of hormones from the hypothalamus, pituitary gland and adrenal gland. The adrenal gland flood the body with stress hormones such as adrenal cortisol. The brain sends blood away from the gut and towards the muscles, in preparation for physical exertion. Heart rate, blood pressure and respiration increases as the body temperature rises, the skin perspire the constant flow of stress chemicals and associated metabolic changes that go with recurrent unmanaged anger which eventually cause harm to many different system of the body, these leads to long and short term health problems that have been linked, including headaches, digestive problems, abdominal pain, insomnia, increased anxiety, depression, high blood pressure, skin problems (eczema, pimples) heart attack, dementia, angina pectoris, etc.
Anger affects and causes destruction and great looses in areas like, marriage, work, business opportunities, nation building, society development, lives in general, etc. All these and more are the consequences anger brings on you and others. Don’t allow anyone, yourself or anything to cause you overruled your anger, making people redescribing your personality due to that.
*DAD WAYS TO DEAL WITH ANGER*
1. _Transferring Anger_ : is bad when we transfer our anger to those who knows nothing about it,
2. Bullying
3. Self harming
4. Turning on substance abuse to ease or control anger (alcohol, drug)
*GOOD WAYS TO DEAL WITH ANGER*
1. If you think/see you can’t control your anger, of which it can bring disaster, keep mute, don’t talk no matter what, and walk away from the scene or situation temporarily until you cool down.
2. Find out the exact reasons for the anger and accept your mistakes when notice it your fault or prompted.
3. Think and weigh every word you conceive or create within before you spit it out
4. Seek help from a qualified doctor or a counselor
5. Pay attention and recognise the warning sign of your emotions in relation to the triggering of the anger.
In conclusion, take time to learn, teach, correct and be ready to accept corrections, criticism and don’t be egocentric in your quest to knowledge acquisition and searching for a desired life possessions.
Human beings are fallible and therefore subject to corrections and change, so as long as we live amongst humans, we will offend in one way or the other, but don’t be a slave to anger, it will deprive you of your joy happiness and better relationship. Appreciate your peaceful life, relationship and environment, before anger create a bad one for you.
