Cristiano Ronaldo: Why Juventus star is a PROBLEM for Paulo Dybala - Andrea Pirlo

CRISTIANO RONALDO is proving to be a problem for some of his Juventus team-mates, according to club legend Andrea Pirlo.
Ronaldo arrived at Juve from Real Madrid in a £100million last summer.

His 19 Serie A goals have sent them to the brink of an eighth league title in succession.

A win at home to Fiorentina today will clinch the Scudetto for Max Allegri’s side.
However, they were dumped out of the Champions League at the quarter-final stage by Ajax earlier this week and some of Ronaldo’s team-mates have struggled since his arrival.
Paulo Dybala appears to have suffered more than most having scored just five league goals in the current campaign term after 22 in the last.

And Pirlo believes he is struggling to come to terms with the fact he is now playing second fiddle to the Portuguese superstar.

“Dybala’s value has decreased and that’s not Juventus’ fault,” he said.

“I think the problem is psychological.
“When you have the chance to play with a striker like Cristiano Ronaldo you should be happy about playing with him, you should be happy to learn from such a great champion”.

“Dybala needs to understand that he is playing for Juventus, not in a medium team.

“Everyone will try to help him but he is the one who must recharge batteries, he must become the same player that he used to be.”

Dybala’s struggles have prompted rumours linking him with a move away in the summer.
It was claimed last week that Juve will look to cash-in on him in a bid to raise funds to bring in some fresh faces.

They have been linked with an ambitious move for Liverpool star Mohamed Salah as well as Benfica sensation Joao Felix.

Meanwhile, Dybala will not be short of suitors if he does become available with the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool reported to be tracking him.
