Pastoral work more important to me than acting – Bishop Bernard Nyarko

Ghanaian actor based in Kumasi, Bishop Bernard Nyarko has declared his commitment to concentrate on his ministry work.

Announcing his decision to quit his acting profession, the popular actor disclosed that his choice to preach the word of God is paramount to him.

He revealed that on December 20, 2018, he had a vision directing him to solely focus his attention on God’s work by preaching the gospel to lost souls.



“From 20th December last year, I was in the room, I couldn’t make a move…God arrested me and told me to preach the gospel.

God told me to gather some youth and intercede. I have an interest in those who have been rejected. Drug addicts…I mean the outcasts.” Bernard Nyarko said on Suncity FM

Bishop who was quick to add said though he will feature in movies it is likely such scripts will be pure Christian roles which according to him hast he potential of saving people.
