Tiwaa Addo-Danquah not fit to head CID; she should be in jail – Asiedu Nketia

General Secretary for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has described COP Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah as unfit for the position of Director General of Criminal Investigative Department.

According to him, given the allegations surrounding her since she assumed office and how she has so far executed her work, she should even be in prison.

“Left to me, that lady [Tiwaa] should be in prison by now. If not in prison, she should be in her house. She has no business heading our premier criminal investigative body.”



Mr. Asiedu Nketiah was speaking to the press on the sidelines of a press conference on the recent CID invitation to the NDC National Chairman, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo.

Mr. Ofosu Ampofo has been summoned by the CID over the last month to assist with investigations in the wake of the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-election violence.
