The official launch and first national conference of the Communication Educators Association of Ghana (CEAG) comes off June 27-28, 2019 at the University of Education, Winneba.
The conference themed ‘Communication education in a disruptive era: curriculum development and pedagogical issues’, brings together academics, researchers and policy makers to discuss and share best practices in teaching, learning, curriculum and assessment issues in communication education in Ghana and abroad.
Speakers for the two-day conference include Professor Kehbuma Langmia, Professor of Communications, Howard University, U.S.A., Ms. Esther Cobbah, Founder and C.E.O of Stratcomm Africa and Ambassador Kabral Blay-Amihere, former Chairman of the National Media Commission.
CEAG is a professional body that brings together communication educators in all public and private tertiary institutions as well as professionals in related communication agencies in Ghana.
CEAG has come to ensure that the communication fraternity in Ghana gets a professional backbone that symbolises its unique academic and professional focus.
