I bought my own recorder, headphone and everything I was using when working for Multimedia – Kofi Adomah

Former Adom FM radio host Kofi Adomah has revealed that it is strictly the passion for his job that has brought him this far.

The KOFI TV host was speaking to Zionfelix at the Away Bus pool party organised by the directors of the popular Ghanaian movie “Away Bus”

In the interview, the on screen personality made it known that he did not get into the media space because of money.

Kofi Adomah was asked what he had to say to people who look up to him and see him as a role model to which he simply said “Follow your passion”.

The TV host said that he did not follow the money and because of the love he had for his job, he used his own money to buy all the equipment he used for his production and it was not because Multimedia Group which owns Adom FM could not afford it.

He further stated that it is impossible to succeed in the industry if money is the focus. It is only the passion that can take you far.

He revealed that he had no idea how to monetize his YouTube videos until a friend told him about it.

In his final words, he said “seek ye first the banana and the monkey shall come” telling his fans to focus on the work and the rewards will definitely come with it.
