The New Patriotic Party’s National Chairman Freddie Blay has appeared in court today to face charges of procurement breaches of some buses brought against him by the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ).
Mr Blay, according to the Commission was hard to reach after all attempts to serve him with the summons failed.
But at the last adjourned date, the court, presided over by Justice George Koomson, however, directed that CHRAJ attempts reaching Mr Blay at his private residence.
The Commission had told the court Mr Blay has refused to respond to a petition filed against him by the Coalition of Social Justice and wants a custodial sentence to be imposed on him.
