Talented Ghanaian midfielder Ernest Agyiri has extended his contract with English Premier League champions Manchester City until 2021, footballmadeinghana.com can exclusively reveal.
Ernest 21, joined the English Premier League club from Ghanaian academy side Right To Dream Academy in 2016 for an initial period of four years.
Agyiri was farmed out to Norwegian side Valarenga on a 2-year loan between 2016 and 2018.
The intelligent midfielder was again loaned out to Tubize in Belgium after his stay in Norway where he spent a year with them.
Agyiri’s intelligence and wonderful display has forced the Premier League side to extend his contract to 2021.
The Ghanaian who is described as one of the talented central midfielders in his category is expected to put up a great outing during the preseason to earn attention from Pep Guardiolar.
Agyiri won a scholarship to the Right to Dream Academy in 2008, moving to Manchester City at the beginning of 2015.
On 31st August 2016, Agyiri was loaned to Vålerenga, by Manchester City.
On 30 August 2018, Agyiri joined Belgian side Tubize on loan.
It’s however unclear if he will be loaned out again by Man City.
