The Deputy Managing Director of BOST, Mr. Moses Asem has been slapped with a fine of GHC720 by the La Motor Court.
He was charged with driving at the wrong side, misuse of a siren and causing danger to other road users.
Mr. Asem, however, produced a license in court hence that charge was quashed.
He was arrested on Saturday alongside 28 other errant drivers as part of Citi TV’s War Against Indiscipline campaign.
Earlier Citi News reported that Mr.Asem had failed to show up in court as all the culprits were put before the Tema Sanitation and Motor court.
This brings to 26 the number of fined errant drivers arrested on the Dawhenya road over the weekend.
So far the total sum of fines accrued to the state as a result of the Dawhenya exercise stands at over GHC12,000.
Over 100 drivers have so far been arrested and put before court for breaking traffic regulations as part as the campaign
They have been receiving fines between GHc600 and GHC1,000.
