German top-flight club, TSG Hoffenheim have congratulated their defender Kassim Nuhu for helping Black Stars qualify to the knockout stages of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Kassim has been one of Ghana’s standout players at the ongoing continental showpiece but missed Tuesday’s clash with Guinea-Bissau after receiving two bookings in the opening two group games.
The four-time champions inflicted a 2-0 defeat on the Wild Dogs to reach the last 16 as Group F winners.
Second half strikes from Jordan Ayew and Thomas Partey ensured the Black Stars remained on course to end Ghana’s 37 year wait for a title.
The Bundesliga side took to their twitter account to salute Kassim;

Ghana face Tunisia on Monday for the right to participate in the quarterfinals.
