Tunisia will be cool chop for Ghana – Dan Kweku Yeboah

Spokesperson of the Normalisation Committee of the Ghana Football Association, Daniel Kweku Yeboah claims that the round of 16 game between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia will be a walkover for the Stars.

Ghana will lock horns with Tunisia on Monday at 19:00 GMT in the round of 16 of the ongoing African Cup of Nations.

Tunisia have never beaten the Black Stars of Ghana in their seven outings losing six and drawing one.

The sports journalist on Accra based Okay FM recalled that in Burkina Faso 1998 where the Stars didn’t get a good tournament, they still managed to beat the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.

“All things being equal I don’t think that Tunisia can worry us in this encounter because even in a tournament that Ghana didn’t perform, we beat Tunisia when we met them.”

“I remember Burkina Faso 1998 which was one of our worst campaigns in Afcon being eliminated by Togo. Even that we beat them. So I am praying that we maintain that record,” he concluded.
