Slim-looking Kurl Songx sparks worry on social media

In Ghana, the pressure on people who are in the limelight to shed weight is very high – Lydia Forson, Roselyn Ngissah, Maame Serwaa, and Obour are some of the celebrities who have suffered such trolls from social media users.

Meanwhile, politician Nana Oye Lithur, Radio and TV presenter Jessica Saforo, and Sammy Forson are some of the public figures who’s weight loss journey has been celebrated.

Joining the trend is the former thick and tall musician Kurl Songx of ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ fame.

His social media pages seem to be on fire ever since the musician posted a progress picture of his weight loss journey.

The photo which has been met with deep shock since its release has got fans showing mixed reactions – worry and excitement.

Some fans still don’t believe the photo is an actual representation of the musician’s current weight, they think the photo was filtered just to gain likes on social media.



Musician Mzbel asked “Oh wow did u loose weight or filter?” , to which the ‘Trumpet’ hitmaker responded ‘yeah Mabel babe’.
