Davido and Chioma finally engaged

Even though millions of fans projected his marriage to his girlfriend in 2020, not many saw his proposal coming.

Words of congratulations poured in after popular Nigerian musician, Davido, finally proposed to his sweetheart, Chioma Rowland, on Thursday night, September 12.

In a picture posted on the singer’s Instagram handle, the loving couple are seen in what appears to be a restaurant in London, with the “Blow My Mind” hitmaker on one knee proposing to his girlfriend.

The singer wrote: “She said Yes! Big Rock! Assurance 2020.”

The 26-year-old singer, whose real name is David Adedeji Adeleke, had earlier announced his introduction to Chioma’ family via his Instagram page in the early hours of September 2, 2019, Ghanaweb had reported.

Davido’s romance with Chioma has been known for some years now as they are usually seen touring together.



The son of multi-billionaire, Adedeji Adeleke, already has two daughters but is confident of marrying Chioma.

There are speculations that Chioma is also heavily pregnant with Davido’s third child.
