Tadi Kidnap: I refused to talk to Akufo-Addo on phone – Angry mother

Comfort Arhin, the mother of Ruthlove Quayson, has told Kasapa 102.5 Fm she refused to talk to President Akufo-Addo on phone when he called to console the family Monday evening following the announcement of the DNA results.

Madam Arhin, who’s incensed by the purported killing of her daughter said in an interview with host kweku Owusu Adjei on Anopa Kasapa Morning Show that the President’s sympathy to them is belated.

“Why now? the issue happened long ago, and all this while he didn’t feel the need to talk to us. He was even in the region quite recently, went to Axim but he failed to stop by and pay us a visit.

She added: “I have not touched anything from the government, not even the token in an envelope they brought to us earlier.”

President Akufo-Addo has personally phoned the four families whose relatives were kidnapped and now confirmed dead to console them following a report from the police administration.

Father of Priscilla Mantsebeah Koranchie the last girl to be kidnapped on December 21, 2018, Alexander Kojo Koranchie also told Empire News’ Emmanuel Ohene-Gyan that the President personally called him to console him and said I will “hear from him later”.

“I was surprised that the President called though belated, he is the father of the nation and I cannot begrudge, I wish his call will have come earlier than this but all the same I am happy he called and God knows best,” downhearted Mr Koranchie revealed.

Meanwhile, Comfort Arhin has rejected the results of the DNA test conducted on the exhumed body parts of the four girls.

She claimed her instinct tells her the daughter is still alive, however, the Police hasten to cut short the search for the girls because 2020 election is just around the corner.
