Cookie Tee who was also a nominee on the night did not pick her category. However, she shared insight of her broader focus of being part of the scheme.

She also acknowledged that it’s been a year and she has been able to achieve this recognition. Not winning will not stop her from working hard in everything she does.

“We didn’t win this time, but what I actually won on that stage hosting for the second time is way more priceless than any award! I WON EXPERIENCE and that to me is EVERYTHING as I journey on in this Media Space.” — Cookie wrote on her Instagram page.

She also pointed out the fact that the voting procedure was “complicated” and perhaps that may also result in her loss.

“THANK YOU to ALL who took time to vote for me considering how “COMPLICATED” it was to go through the voting process.

To you all Genuine fans and loved ones who keep on looking out for me and cheering me on, I say GOD BLESS YOU!! —WE KEEP MOVING” — She added

The prestigious Radio and Television Personality awards Ghana is a scheme that celebrates the achievements of media personalities across the country. The ninth edition came off on Saturday, October 12 at the Accra International Conference Centre amidst the splendour and glitz from the red carpet.

Shirley Tibilla was the host for the second time; aided by actor James Gardener.

James Gardener’s skill and experience on the stage provided the perfect link for both hosts to flow with the audience who were mainly top industry people as well as heads of businesses and politicians.
